Parlor Games is a hobby website focussed on traditional board games. You can play classic parlor, card, board games with your friends or against the Computer. There is nothing to install or register, and there are no ads. You can play all the games directly in your browser.

Requirements

• What do I need to play these games?
  All you need is a modern web browser. Any recent version of Chrome or Edge is suitable. Mobile web browsers are also fine.
• What web technologies are used?
  Most of the graphics are SVG. We depend on AJAX to communicate back with the game server.

Gameplay

• How do I play these Games?
  Go to the home page from your web browser. Select a game you want to play. Your player will have a 5 digit alpha numeric code. You can assign new alphanumeric codes to other players (and have them use that code to join you), or click on the computer button to make the computer play that position.
• What are the different modes of playing these games?
  
  • Single Player
    Play against the computer. Works best for either single player games (brainvita) or for two player games.
  • Multi Player (Multi-Device)
    Each player uses their own device to connect to the game. This is the only option for you to play remotely against your friends.
  • Multi Player (Single-Device)
    All the players share a device, and pass the device around to take their turn. This works only for games that don't have secrets that are known only to the player. The current player's name will be highlighted.
    Games that support this mode: Tic-Tac-Toe, Aadu Puli Attam
    In all these modes, other players can join as spectators and see the "public" view of the game.
• What games are available?
  You can play Tic-Tac-Toe, Aadu Puli Aattam, Brainvita, and Cassino. Check back regularly, as new games will be added every month. You can follow our blog for announcements.
